Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación se realiza con el fin de estudiar una de las posibles causas del deterioro que presenta la malla vial de la ciudad de Villavicencio, se establece una serie de posibles causas entre ellas el mal manejo geopolítico de las licitaciones de estas construcciones, incorrectos procedimientos de construcción, baja calidad de los materiales, incumplimiento de la normativa vigente de los materiales granulares que conforman las capas de una estructura de pavimento, entre otras. Considerando que una de las principales causas es el incumplimiento de la normativa por falta de la actualización en la forma de explotación y tratamiento de materiales en las canteras que suministran el material granular para subbase se realiza a caracterización a materiales granulares como son la sub base granular, empleando como punto principal la cantera del rio Guatiquía (Mina Guatiquía Centro SAS) y las canteras del rio Guayuriba (Gravicon S.A y Otranspel LTDA) ejecutando los ensayos permitentes según el Instituto Nacional de Vías, los cuales corresponden a Granulometría, Desgaste de los ángeles, Límite líquido, Índice de plasticidad, Pérdida en solidez, Equivalente de arena, Terrones de arcilla, Proctor y CBR; a partir de estos ensayos se verifica el cumplimiento de la normativa y la calidad del material usado para explotación de subbase, de igual manera se tiene en cuenta los procedimientos pertinentes para poder analizar los resultados y así mismo estudiar las mejoras pertinentes en el material.
Abstract
This research work is carried out in order to study one of the possible causes of the deterioration of the road mesh of the city of Villavicencio, a number of possible causes are established including the geopolitical mismanagement of the tenders of these constructions, incorrect construction procedures, low quality of materials, non-compliance with the current regulations of the granular materials that make up the layers of a pavement structure, among others. Whereas one of the main causes is non-compliance with the regulations for failure to update in the form of operation and treatment of materials in quarries supplying the granular material for subbase is carried out in characterization granular materials such as the granular sub-base, using as the main point the quarry of the Guatiquía river (Mina Guatiquía Centro SAS) and the quarries of the Guayuriba river (Gravicon S.A and Otranspel LTDA) executing the permitting tests according to the National Institute granulometry, angel wear, liquid limit, plasticity index, solidity loss, sand equivalent, clay lumps, proctor and CBR; from these tests compliance with the regulations and the quality of the material used for subbase exploitation is verified, as well as the relevant procedures are taken into account in order to analyze the results and also study the improvements relevant in the material.
