Propuesta para la creación de un escritorio remoto en la nube basado en VDI para los empleados de Home Office de Emtelco S.A.S

Abstract

Emtelco SAS is a company in the Telecommunications sector with more than 15 years of experience, dedicated to providing Contact Center and outsourcing solutions to go hand in hand with its corporate clients and be in charge of the pre-sale, sale and post-sale of its products or services thus generating added value for each of its companies and also creating experiences for its end users. This company has its main headquarters in the city of Medellín and since 2012 it opened its doors in Bogotá where it has expanded through its services: Customer service, sales, collections, back office and service desk through different channels such as IVR, social networks, digital assistants, among others. All these services are possible thanks to the employees who work at Emtelco and in some way they meet the needs of the clients in order to always generate added value by offering their products or services. Through this document, we want to publicize the current state of internal management for the connection of employees in Emtelco given the pandemic and propose a possible solution for saving resources that can contribute to the scalability and productivity of employees. This proposal considers aspects such as the number of employees in the Home Office at the Emtelco Bogotá headquarters, to develop a methodology that allows considering elements such as technological tools, implementation of the platform, among others. With the analysis and the results that arise in the development of this document, it is expected that the company Emtelco S.A.S will take into account the proposal for its improvement and performance.
