La literatura como ejercicio de representación de un entorno, sus habitantes, aspiraciones, conflictos y visiones de mundo es a su vez un espejo y un oráculo de la realidad social en la que se ubica el escritor. Tras sus vivencias, el escritor encuentra unos elementos de su entorno que son comunes en la
constitución del individuo como sujeto. Lo común, que alude a todo aquello que nos permite crear puentes y, por ende, comunicarnos y actuar como comunidad, así como la sujeción, la confraternidad a la que se refiere el término sujeto, nos habla de la imperiosa influencia que el entorno social, los lenguajes, las creencias y sus sistemas de representación tienen sobre los individuos.
Mario Mendoza, como él mismo llega a afirmarlo, desciende por la ciudad. Vio, ve y verá a los ciudadanos descender por la ciudad, instrumento de desarrollo para la modernidad, a los ciudadanos de Bogotá y a sus personajes, reconociéndola como una ciudad hostil e impredecible capaz de destruirlos a todos.
Abstract
Literature as an exercise in the representation of an environment, its inhabitants, aspirations, conflicts and worldviews is, in turn, a mirror and an oracle of the social reality in which the writer is located. After his experiences, the writer finds elements of his environment that are common in the
constitution of the individual as a subject. The common, which alludes to everything that allows us to create bridges and, therefore, communicate and act as a community, as well as the subjection, the fellowship to which the term subject refers, tells us about the imperious influence that the social environment , languages, beliefs and their systems of representation have on individuals.
Mario Mendoza, as he himself affirms, descends through the city. He saw, sees and will see the citizens descend through the city, an instrument of development for modernity, the citizens of Bogotá and their characters, recognizing it as a hostile and unpredictable city capable of destroying them all.
