dc.description	Está investigación tuvo como objetivo el evidenciar las implicaciones de la relación entre interacción social y realidad virtual sobre la construcción de identidades en el videojuego World of Warcraft: legión. Para ello se tomó como teoría base el interaccionismo simbólico junto con algunos conceptos referentes a las tres principales categorías de análisis (interacción social, realidad virtual e identidad). Asimismo, como diseño metodológico se tomó la etnografía virtual y con ella la observación participante y la entrevista semiestructurada. En cuanto a los resultados de la investigación, se pudo observar que la relación entre interacción social y realidad virtual permite la construcción de una identidad virtual múltiple, colectiva, idealizada, híbrida y dialéctica, expresada a través de un lenguaje particular y verbal, en un mundo utópico de fantasía abstraído de la realidad física.	spa
dc.description.abstract	This research aimed to highlight the implications of the relationship between social interaction and virtual reality on the construction of identities in the video game World of Warcraft: Legion. For this, the symbolic interactionism together with some concepts related to the three categories of research (social interaction, virtual reality and identity) was taken as base theory. Also, as a methodological design, the virtual ethnography was taken and with it participant observation for its realization, in addition to the application of semi-structured interviews. As for the results of the research, it was possible to observe that the implications of the previously mentioned relationship on the construction of identity were a multiple, collective, idealized, hybrid and dialectical virtual identity construction, expressed through a particular and verbal language, in a utopian world of fantasy abstracted from the physical reality.	spa
