Resumen
El presente proyecto, surge de la pregunta de investigación ¿Cómo mejorar la gestión de recursos financieros que permitan la sostenibilidad y perdurabilidad de las diferentes líneas de acción de la Universidad Santo Tomás seccional Bucaramanga?. Para ello se planteó el siguiente objetivo general: Diseñar la unidad de gestión de recursos financieros en la Universidad Santo Tomás, Seccional Bucaramanga, mediante una investigación descriptiva, recolección de datos mixta, fuentes de información primarias y secundarias, población: Universidad Santo Tomás Seccional Bucaramanga, muestreo por conveniencia 13 decanos académicos y 14 directivos de dependencias.
Los resultados de la investigación evidenciaron que los ingresos operacionales se encuentran estructurados en rubros de pregrado, posgrado, educación continua, devoluciones y descuentos, otros ingresos académicos y contratos y convenios y la unidad de gestión de recursos financieros se debe fundamentar en una organización funcional dinámica con profesionales expertos en ejecutar vínculos con diferentes sectores a nivel nacional e internacional.
Los resultados más relevantes fueron: respecto al conocimiento de las directrices y documentos institucionales para esta gestión de recursos financieros, se requieren en acciones para una comunicación eficaz entre las diferentes unidades para el fortalecimiento de una cultura de manejo de buenas prácticas administrativas que propendan por la perdurabilidad, sostenibilidad y generación de ingresos en educación diferentes a los de su ingreso principal. Así mismo se evidencio que cada unidad y facultad realizan acciones encaminadas a las directrices de las directivas en la diversificación de sus ingresos, pero se denota actividades aisladas por cada facultad y unidad por ellos es necesario desarrollar programas conjuntos por divisiones. El presente artículo es resultado de la investigación finalizada “Diseño de la unidad de gestión de recursos financieros en la Universidad Santo Tomás, Seccional Bucaramanga”. Colombia.
Abstract
The present project, arises from the research question How to improve the management of financial resources that allow the sustainability and durability of the different lines of action of the University Santo Tomás Bucaramanga section ?. For this, the following general objective was proposed: Design the financial resources management unit at the Santo Tomás University, Bucaramanga Section, through descriptive research, mixed data collection, primary and secondary sources of information, population: Santo Tomás University Bucaramanga Section , convenience sampling 13 academic deans and 14 dependency managers.
The results of the investigation showed that operational income is structured in undergraduate, postgraduate, continuing education, returns and discounts, other academic income and contracts and agreements and the financial resources management unit must be based on a dynamic functional organization With professional experts in executing links with different sectors at national and international level.
The research is descriptive and the general objective was to analyze the perception of the management of financial resources in the University Santo Tomás Section Bucaramanga, using a collection of mixed data, primary and secondary information sources, the population the academic deans and managers of units of Santo Tomás University Section Bucaramanga, sampling for convenience 13 academic deans and 14 directors of Units. The most relevant results were: regarding the knowledge of the guidelines and institutional documents for this management of financial resources, actions are required for an effective communication between the different units for the strengthening of a management culture of good administrative practices that favor the durability, sustainability and income generation in education different from their main income. Likewise, it was evidenced that each unit and faculty carry out actions aimed at the directives of the directives in the diversification of their income, but it denotes isolated activities for each faculty and unit, for them it is necessary to develop joint programs by divisions.
