Este informe detalla la pasantía realizada en la Liga de Atletismo de Cundinamarca, donde se desempeñaron labores de dirección y administración general. El contexto de la organización se enmarca en una entidad privada sin ánimo de lucro dedicada al fomento y desarrollo del atletismo en la región. El propósito central de la pasantía fue aplicar conocimientos de administración deportiva en un entorno real, contribuyendo al fortalecimiento institucional y operativo de la Liga. Las actividades desarrolladas abarcaron desde la construcción de planes estratégicos y la gestión de alianzas, hasta la diversificación de ingresos y la modernización de la infraestructura digital. Los aprendizajes se enfocaron en la aplicación práctica de habilidades de liderazgo, gestión financiera y desarrollo de proyectos en el ámbito deportivo, así como la importancia de la colaboración interinstitucional.
Abstract
Problem: This report presents the outcomes of a professional internship conducted at the Cundinamarca Athletics League, aimed at addressing key challenges in sports administration and institutional development. Objective: The primary objective of the internship was to apply theoretical knowledge of sports administration within a real-world organizational context, thereby contributing to the institutional and operational strengthening of the League. Methodology: The internship involved a range of strategic and administrative activities, including the development of strategic plans, management of institutional partnerships, diversification of revenue sources, and the modernization of the League's digital infrastructure. Results: Key achievements include the approval of the 2025 Action Plan, the formulation of a strategic technical-sports roadmap for the 2027 National Games, successful negotiations with private sponsors, and the establishment of formal agreements with public entities. New income streams were generated through the launch of a fan and athlete merchandise store, and the organization underwent structural improvements via general assemblies. Additionally, a new official website was developed to enhance the League’s digital presence. The internship provided valuable insights into the practical application of leadership, financial management, and project development within the sports sector. It also highlighted the critical role of inter-institutional collaboration in achieving sustainable growth and innovation.
