Abstract

An integral investigative work was carried out, with a fundamental component of projection, design and Urban and Architectural development, focused on establishing integral solutions, to the general problem that occurs in the sector called; La Loma, corresponding to the eastern side of the metropolitan city of Barranquilla, in the department of Atlántico; which is located adjacent to the Magdalena River, the main implications that they address frontally regarding the problem, focus on the comprehensive establishment of a successful response to the absence of significant public space, the relocation of elements of an industrial, administrative, commercial, and mixed use, as well as the reconfiguration of blocks, high-rise housing development, and the integral articulation of the sector, through the connections and mobility responses implicit in the process; as well as the projection of multiple equipment elements, which generate an absolute cohesion between the Administrative and Financial Complex of the Caribbean project, and the city in a harmonious and reciprocal way, delving into multiple factors and intrinsic aspects in the respective context, mainly and fundamentally the social one. , ecological, environmental, technological, political, and Architectural; with investigative approach; where a comprehensive, holistic urban and architectural design is projected, which allows to satisfy and improve the competitiveness of the city, the public space for the people, the integral connection of the sector, the quality of life of the inhabitants, granting a worldview of space appropriation social, as well as the conservation of the environmental component, and the relationship between the ecological and anthropic system.
