Webcamming: el negocio invisible ante la ley

Debido a las diversas problemáticas que ha habido en Colombia por temas económicos y pocas oportunidades de trabajos con buena remuneración, el modelaje webcam ha sido una posibilidad para que las mujeres obtengan ganancias con el fin de suplir necesidades. Colombia ocupa el segundo puesto de modelaje Webcam1, con el 33% de ocupación después de Rumania (Franco et al., 2022) es desde allí donde se evidencia la necesidad de hacer el seguimiento periodístico para evidenciar que esta labor no se encuentra legalmente regida por parámetros judiciales, de parte de la constitución, provocando que sus derechos fundamentales y laborales sean más fáciles de vulnerar. Es por lo anterior, que dentro de esta investigación se tendrán en cuenta las mujeres de 18 a 25 años que ejercen el trabajo de modelos webcam, y así poder comprender las principales razones por las cuales se encuentran ejerciendo esta labor. Por otro lado, indagar el sistema de administración que se lleva a cabo en los distintos estudios. Y finalmente, identificar las consecuencias que genera la falta de regulación legal dentro del modelaje webcam.

Abstract

Due to the various problems that have occurred in Colombia due to economic issues and few opportunities for jobs with good pay, webcam modeling has been a possibility for women to earn money in order to meet their needs. Colombia occupies the second position of Webcam modeling, with 33% of occupation after Romania (Country), it is from there where it is evident the need to make the journalistic monitoring to show that this work is not legally governed by judicial parameters, from the constitution, causing that their fundamental and labor rights are easier to violate. It is for this reason that this research will take into account women between 18 and 25 years old who work as webcam models, in order to understand the main reasons why they are doing this work. On the other hand, to investigate the management system that is carried out in the different studios, and finally, to identify the consequences generated by the lack of legal regulation within the webcam modeling.
