Este trabajo de reflexión hace parte del proyecto de investigación titulado “Formación de ciudadanos como proceso integral, transversal e incluyente de los jóvenes de bachillerato y el aporte formativo de la educación superior en la ciudad de Tunja”, en el que se intenta establecer los retos fundamentales para la educación superior en América Latina en un contexto de capitalismo cognitivo. Se establecen algunas caracterizaciones del capitalismo cognitivo, su incidencia en la comprensión del valor del conocimiento y, posteriormente, los retos que se le presentan a la educación superior en pro de resignificar el sentido, razón de ser y de estar-ahí de la universidad en las sociedades actuales.
This reflection work is part of research project course entitled “Training citizens as an integral, transversal and inclusive process of young people in high school and the educational role of higher education in the city of Tunja”. These words tries to establish the most fundamental for higher education in Latin America in a context of cognitive capitalism challenges. The characterizations of cognitive capitalism are established , its impact on the understanding of the value of knowledge and subsequently the challenges that are presented to the Higher Education towards to reinterpret sense, reason for being and being-there of the University in today’s societies.
