El presente trabajo de investigación busca identificar las representaciones sociales que tienen los comerciantes sobre las personas exconvictas y su empleabilidad en la zona centro de Villavicencio. La investigación es de enfoque cualitativo, con un alcance descriptivo, se propone desde un paradigma interpretativo en epistemología fenomenología hermenéutica, esta busca reconocer la experiencia subjetiva de individuos; intenta develar el mundo según lo experimenta el sujeto, a través de sus historias del mundo de la vida. La siguiente investigación cuenta con varios momentos, el primero es seleccionar el tema a investigar, en este caso son las representaciones sociales, a partir de esto se crea la pregunta problema y se realiza la selección de las categorías y subcategorías, que se definen de manera detallada en un apartado del trabajo. Seguido de esto, se realiza la selección de la muestra, que es de 15 comerciantes a los cuales se les realiza la entrevista semiestructurada como técnica de recolección de datos a cada participante, y, por último, se realiza el análisis de la información que es obtenida de forma manual y escrita, teniendo en cuenta las categorías como: aspectos culturales, reinserción social y representación social. Clasificando las subcategorías como: prejuicio, estigma social, desarrollo personal, cambio social, creencias y mitos.
Por otra parte, en los resultados, se puede evidenciar distintas construcciones del pensamiento en torno a un tema en particular que son las representaciones sociales en los comerciantes de la zona centro de Villavicencio frente a los exconvictos y la empleabilidad. A partir de estas construcciones de estos relatos se destacan consideraciones como que los exconvictos son individuos que pueden reincidir en el delito, que el proceso carcelario es un limitante y un antecedente que no se puede pasar por alto al momento de una contratación, que las personas que pasan por este proceso no son catalogadas como personas de bien.
Cabe mencionar, que con esta investigación sería de gran aporte para dar visibilidad a las construcciones sociales que se han creado en relación a la población exconvicta frente a temas como la empleabilidad y reinserción social.
Abstract
This research work seeks to identify the social representations that merchants have about ex-convicts and their employability in the downtown area of Villavicencio. The research is of qualitative approach, with a descriptive scope, it is proposed from an interpretative paradigm in hermeneutic phenomenology epistemology, this seeks to recognize the subjective experience of individuals; it tries to unveil the world as experienced by the subject, through their stories of the world of life. The following research has several moments, the first one is to select the subject to investigate, in this case social representations, from this the problem question is created and the selection of categories and subcategories is made, which are defined in detail in a section of the work. After this, the selection of the sample is made, which consists of 15 traders to whom a semi-structured interview is conducted as a data collection technique for each participant, and, finally, the analysis of the information obtained manually and in writing is carried out, taking into account categories such as: cultural aspects, social reintegration and social representation. Classifying the subcategories as: prejudice, social stigma, personal development, social change, beliefs and myths.
On the other hand, the results show different constructions of thought on a particular topic, which are the social representations of merchants in the downtown area of Villavicencio regarding ex-convicts and employability. From these constructions of these stories, considerations stand out such as that ex-convicts are individuals who can reoffend, that the prison process is a limiting factor and a background that cannot be overlooked at the time of hiring, and that people who go through this process are not classified as good people.
Finally, this research would be a great contribution to give visibility to the social constructions that have been created in relation to the ex-convicted population regarding issues such as employability and social reintegration.
