Resumen
En el presente documento se hace un estudio del estado general de las Edificaciones que conforman el Hospital Municipal de Caicedonia en el Departamento del Valle del Cauca (Colombia), para detectar de una manera técnica y con la metodología indicada, las diferentes lesiones y deficiencias que tiene y que pueden afectar su funcionalidad, habitabilidad, seguridad, estabilidad y durabilidad. También se hace un preciso diagnóstico y se plantean las alternativas más viables para su rehabilitación, con sus respectivos costos y tiempos de ejecución.
Abstract
Public hospital institutions have undergone an accelerated transformation in recent years, initially due to the adjustment of financial imbalances due to their billing culture and the accumulation of the provision liability, and subsequently due to the obsolescence of physical infrastructure and its poor modernization compared to the strong technological changes, as well as the needs of a medical and administrative nature within the new concept Network of services. Santander Hospital has not been oblivious to this reality and for this reason the changes in mission and financial aspects are evident; Unfortunately, in terms of physical infrastructure, the same level of progress has not been achieved, although there is a physical plant evidently in good maintenance, the truth is that its viability is threatened not only by its low functionality and weakness against technological needs, but essentially because of the instability of its physical plant given its structural system that does not comply (Standard NSR-10) with the minimum safety conditions, typical of an indispensable building which must and provide warmth, comfort and safety to the patients, staff and visitors who use the service in cases of natural disasters, especially a seismic event, and continue to operate after it.
