La vereda argentina, ubicada en el municipio de Villavicencio, presenta un alto grado de vulnerabilidad territorial debido a la ineficiencia de las actuales medidas de contención frente a los desbordamientos del río Guatiquía. Esta condición de riesgo ha puesto en evidencia la necesidad de una intervención integral con enfoque arquitectónico y territorial, que trascienda las soluciones emergentes y proponga una reconfiguración estructural del hábitat ante amenazas naturales. La ausencia de una planificación urbana adecuada ha derivado en una ocupación desorganizada del suelo, caracterizada por una disposición ineficiente de las viviendas y de los espacios públicos, lo que ha obstaculizado el desarrollo sostenible y resiliente de la comunidad.
En este contexto, el proyecto propone un diseño de reasentamiento integral que responda tanto a las condiciones ambientales como a las necesidades socioespaciales de la población afectada. La propuesta se concibe como una oportunidad para configurar un nuevo tejido urbano-rural, estructurado a partir de un trazado eficiente, una distribución funcional de usos del suelo y una red de espacios públicos que fomente la cohesión social y la organización comunitaria.
El enfoque arquitectónico se centra en la mejora de la calidad de vida de los habitantes mediante el diseño de unidades habitacionales dignas, infraestructura social adecuada y equipamientos colectivos. Se incorporan criterios de sostenibilidad y uso de materialidad local, con el fin de consolidar un asentamiento resiliente, funcional y adaptable al contexto ambiental y cultural del territorio.
Abstract
The Argentinean village, located in the municipality of Villavicencio, presents a high degree of territorial vulnerability due to the inefficiency of the current containment measures against the overflowing of the Guatiquía river. This risk condition has highlighted the need for an integral intervention with an architectural and territorial approach that goes beyond emerging solutions and proposes a structural reconfiguration of the habitat in the face of natural hazards. The absence of adequate urban planning has led to a disorganized occupation of the land, characterized by an inefficient arrangement of housing and public spaces, which has hindered the sustainable and resilient development of the community.
In this context, the project proposes a comprehensive resettlement design that responds to both environmental conditions and the socio-spatial needs of the affected population. The proposal is conceived as an opportunity to configure a new urban-rural fabric, structured on the basis of an efficient layout, a functional distribution of land uses and a network of public spaces that fosters social cohesion and community organization.
The architectural approach focuses on improving the quality of life of the inhabitants through the design of decent housing units, adequate social infrastructure and collective facilities. Sustainability criteria and the use of local materiality are incorporated, with the aim of.
