El espacio académico de Optometría Refractiva 2 es la base fundamental para el aprendizaje de los test que complementan y perfeccionan el estado refractivo de una persona. A través de éstos se obtiene su mejor corrección óptica final y permite al estudiante el desarrollo de nuevas competencias que incluyen la aplicación y correlación de estas pruebas, con el motivo de consulta, diagnóstico y conducta del paciente, así como el progreso en el diligenciamiento de la historia clínica de Optometría Integral.
Por lo tanto, el propósito de este manual es facilitar al estudiante el aprendizaje de la técnica de cada uno de los test mediante prácticas clínicas hipotéticas que desarrollarán en él, agilidad, habilidad y análisis clínico.
Así mismo, permite facilitar a los docentes de esta área la elaboración de material didáctico y la creación de nuevos casos que permitirán evaluar individualmente al estudiante, que ratifiquen el nivel académico de cada uno de ellos para reforzar los conocimientos teóricos y analíticos, mediante la observación directa de la práctica y de la capacidad del estudiante para la resolución de problemas, además de la correlación de datos clínicos que le permitan obtener un diagnóstico refractivo completo y coherente, cumpliendo con el logro de las competencias propuestas.
Abstract
Level 2 Refractive Optometry as an academic space is the fundamental basis for learning the tests that complement and improve the refractive state of a person. Through these tests, the best final optical correction is obtained and they allow the student to develop new skills that include the application and correlation of these tests, with the reason for consultation, diagnosis and behavior of the patient, as well as progress in the completion of the clinical history of Integral Optometry Clinic.
Therefore, the purpose of this manual is to facilitate the student learning the technique of each of the tests through hypothetical clinical practices that will develop agility, skill and clinical analysis.
Likewise, it allows the teachers of this area to facilitate the elaboration of didactic material and the creation of new cases that will allow the individual evaluation of the student, which ratify the academic level of each one of them to reinforce the theoretical and analytical knowledge, through direct observation of the practice and the student's ability to solve problems, in addition to the correlation of clinical data that allow him to obtain a complete and coherent refractive diagnosis, complying with the achievement of the proposed competencies.
