Abstract

Level 2 Refractive Optometry as an academic space is the fundamental basis for learning the tests that complement and improve the refractive state of a person. Through these tests, the best final optical correction is obtained and they allow the student to develop new skills that include the application and correlation of these tests, with the reason for consultation, diagnosis and behavior of the patient, as well as progress in the completion of the clinical history of Integral Optometry Clinic. Therefore, the purpose of this manual is to facilitate the student learning the technique of each of the tests through hypothetical clinical practices that will develop agility, skill and clinical analysis. Likewise, it allows the teachers of this area to facilitate the elaboration of didactic material and the creation of new cases that will allow the individual evaluation of the student, which ratify the academic level of each one of them to reinforce the theoretical and analytical knowledge, through direct observation of the practice and the student's ability to solve problems, in addition to the correlation of clinical data that allow him to obtain a complete and coherent refractive diagnosis, complying with the achievement of the proposed competencies.
