Abstract

The city of Tunja has developed from its historic center in which many of its interventions have not been the most appropriate, losing identity and erasing the memory that has left its mark over the years, as well as its loss of space. public and the lack of adequate cultural facilities. As a result we see that the historic center of the city has lost its cultural identity, appropriation of current heritage, lack of cultural and educational activities, its tourist activity has decreased since its main attractions have not been given importance, it is not given an alternative to the population of the use of free time. An architectural urban facility of interest and educational cultural impact is proposed in the ¨El Bosque¨ sector, thus revitalizing the Forest of the Republic, which is a national monument, currently in conflict due to various problems such as abandonment, lack of of appropriation and insecurity that this generates. With this work we want to integrate the entire population by generating architectural and urban spaces different from the usual ones, and the existing ones that have not been taken advantage of or have been misused, generate identity and appropriation of our heritage and history and give it the value that has not been given through time.
