El proyecto es la evaluación del diseño y construcción de la planta de tratamiento de aguas
residuales (PTAR) del municipio de Labranzagrande – Boyacá, la cual corresponde a un
sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales mediante reactores anaerobios tipo UASB (flujo
ascendente) los cuales permiten separar internamente el efluente tratado, la biomasa y se
encarga de reducir concentraciones de materia orgánica. Esta evaluación se realizó con el fin
de darle continuidad al proyecto y hacer algunas correcciones y recomendaciones para su
buen funcionamiento al ser culminada, esto con el fin de darle una mejor calidad de vida a
los habitantes del municipio de Labranzagrande – Boyacá y a las poblaciones ubicados aguas
abajo.
El procedimiento que se llevó a cabo para este proyecto fue: visitas e inspecciones de
campo, conociendo así las condiciones físicas y ambientales que enmarcan la PTAR,
ayudándonos de esta manera a una descripción detallada del sistema de tratamiento de aguas
residuales en estudio, posteriormente se hicieron consultas topográficas, hidráulicas,
estructurales y ambientales, igualmente se tomaron fotografías, medidas de cada una de las
unidades existentes, luego con los resultados obtenidos se procedió a la fase de evaluación
del estado actual del sistema de tratamiento en estudio, especificando las anomalías de las
unidades construidas al igual que sus características físicas con las suministradas en las
especificaciones establecidas técnicamente en la normatividad y documentación
correspondiente, por último se dieron recomendaciones, para la futura terminación de la
PTAR.
Abstract
The project is the evaluation of the design and construction of the wastewater treatment
plant (WWTP) of the municipality of Labranzagrande - Boyacá, which corresponds to a
wastewater treatment system using anaerobic reactors type UASB (upward flow) which
allow internally separate the treated effluent, the biomass and is responsible for reducing
concentrations of organic matter. This evaluation was carried out in order to give continuity
to the project and make some corrections and recommendations for its proper functioning
upon completion, this in order to give a better quality of life to the inhabitants of the
municipality of Labranzagrande - Boyacá and to the populations located downstream.
The procedure that was carried out for this project was: field visits and inspections, thus
knowing the physical and environmental conditions that frame the PTAR, thus helping us to
a detailed description of the wastewater treatment system under study. Topographic,
hydraulic, structural and environmental investigations were carried out, photographic
samples were also taken, measurements of each of the existing units, then with the results
obtained we proceeded to the evaluation phase of the current state of the treatment system
under study, specifying the various causes of inoperability of the WWTP and also verifying
its physical characteristics with those provided in the specifications technically established
in the regulations and corresponding documentation, finally, recommendations were given
for the future termination of the WWTP.
