Abstract

Throughout this presentation we will deepen the optimization and monitoring of processes during my internship as a student of International Business at Santo Tomás University of Villavicencio, I was assigned to play a significant role in Davivienda S.A. Bank, specifically in PAU (Productive Assets Unit). In this context, my work focused on the areas of Productive Vehicle Credit and Leasing. My primary responsibilities included the management of registrations, the linking of clients and the updating of their data, with a focus on those candidates suitable for the placement of credits. In addition, I provided operational assistance during the disbursement process, working closely with the unit's Executives and the Financial Analysis team who were responsible for the supervision of the disbursement process. A noteworthy facet of these practices was the subsequent forwarding of the documents to Bogotá headquarters where the corresponding financial analysis was carried out after the disbursement process was completed and successful. The most outstanding contribution of my internship process was the implementation of procedural improvements, introducing improvements and updating items with the so-called "Traffic Light Template", a tool that helped us to streamline the assessment of the current status of clients and provided updated guidelines for the disbursement of loans. In addition, together with my direct supervisor, we developed the post-disbursement follow-up strategy to familiarise the client with the payments to be made according to each month's instalment and rate. My internship was a valuable opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired throughout my studies in a concrete working environment. Beyond my personal growth, I believe that my contributions will help to optimise processes at PAU.
