Los Santos, municipio colombiano ubicado en el departamento de Santander, presenta hoy en día una mayor vitalidad gracias al turismo, situación que se revierte en un aumento de la demanda de bienes y servicios que satisfagan adecuadamente las necesidades de sus habitantes. La salud es uno de ellos por lo que se hace necesario revaluar las prestaciones de las instalaciones presentes en el casco urbano. Así las cosas, el proyecto plantea una intervención dirigida a readecuar el actual funcionamiento del antiguo centro de salud Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, el cual hasta hace poco tiempo velaba por suplir las necesidades básicas de la población del casco urbano y el área rural del municipio. A pesar de que se ha construido un nuevo centro de salud en la periferia urbana, aún se requieren servicios médicos especializados que suplan las exigencias inherentes al crecimiento poblacional que el municipio ha presenciado a lo largo de los últimos años y que, por tanto, ha modificado los estándares en términos de exigencias sanitarias. En este orden de ideas, el proyecto busca remodelar la antigua construcción del centro de salud para que aloje servicios de fisioterapia integral que apoyen al nuevo centro de salud y que suplan exigencias poblacionales específicas, previamente detectadas, en términos de este servicio.
Abstract
Los Santos, a Colombian municipality located in the department of Santander, today presents a greater vitality thanks to tourism, a situation that is reversed in an increase in the demand for goods and services that adequately meet the needs of its inhabitants. Health is one of them so it is necessary to reevaluate the benefits of the facilities present in the urban area. Thus, the project proposes an intervention aimed at readjusting the current functioning of the old health center Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, which until recently ensured to meet the basic needs of the population of the urban area and the rural area of the municipality. Although a new health center has been built in the urban periphery, specialized medical services are required to meet the demands inherent in the population growth that the municipality has witnessed over the last few years and that, therefore, has modified the standards in terms of health requirements. In this order of ideas, the project seeks to remodel the old construction of the health center so that it houses integral physiotherapy services that support the new health center and that meet specific population requirements, previously detected, in terms of this service.
