Abstract

Tunja city of hidden treasures recognized for its historic center as a National Monument full of culture and history that houses years of glory and freedom, hosting the most important artistic and cultural events in Boyacá: Despite this, Tunja does not have favorable scenarios in the which the recognition and importance of the territory, culture and historical heritage of the city are encouraged and promoted, generating loss of identity and belonging in the face of culture in the Tunjana population, for this reason it is pertinent to propose an equipment with cultural and artistic purposes called the Biocultural Center for the recognition of the Territory and Historical Heritage, which will be located on the site of the "old transport terminal" as a strategy to promote and stimulate the artistic and cultural practices of the city, promoting the creative industry and the importance of preservation and conservation of the historic center. An investigation will be carried out applied to the execution of an architectural program and design of a Biocultural equipment, where qualitative and quantitative data are used. The project will be divided into two phases: First phase, where all the project research will be carried out: Second phase, is the project part where referents and analysis of the sector are analyzed, the architectural proposal in place is also evidenced.
