Ruta de Atención Integral a Víctimas

El Consultorio Jurídico y el Instituto de Victimología, como Unidades de Servicio Especializado adscritas a la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Santo Tomás seccional Bucaramanga, se configuran como espacios de docencia, investigación y, particularmente, de proyección social, donde los estudiantes se encuentran inmersos en escenarios prácticos, donde ponen al servicio de las comunidades sus conocimientos, con el fin de aportar a la transformación social, pero también, para poner en práctica, desde la educación experiencial, las competencias adquiridas durante su estudio. En ese orden de ideas, a raíz el contexto histórico y social en el que se encuentra Colombia, donde se busca la generación de espacios de construcción de paz desde los diferentes sectores, la Facultad de Derecho, desde las Unidades de Servicio Especializado, diseñó e implemento en el mes de septiembre de 2022 la Ruta de Atención Integral a Víctimas (RAIV), con el fin de generar un espacio de atención y abordaje socio-jurídico integral a las víctimas del conflicto armado que acudieran al Instituto de Victimología o al Consultorio Jurídico, ya sea de forma directa o a través de sus aliados estratégicos. Con la participación de estudiantes, monitores, docentes y auxiliares de investigación, la RAIV es una iniciativa al servicio de la comunidad víctima del conflicto armado para atender y abordar las diferentes problemáticas jurídicas y sociales a las que se ve expuesta la población, con el fin de poder contribuir a la justiciabilidad de sus derechos.

Abstract

The Legal Office and the Institute of Victimology, as Specialized Service Units attached to the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Santo Tomás section of Bucaramanga, are configured as spaces for teaching, research and, particularly, social projection, where students are immersed in practical scenarios, where they put their knowledge at the service of the communities, in order to contribute to social transformation, but also, to put into practice, through experiential education, the skills acquired during their study. In this order of ideas, based on the historical and social context in which Colombia finds itself, where the generation of peace-building spaces is sought from different sectors, the Faculty of Law, from the Specialized Service Units, designed and implemented the Comprehensive Victim Care Route (RAIV) in the month of September 2022, in order to generate a space for comprehensive socio-legal care and approach to victims of the armed conflict who went to the Institute of Victimology or the Legal Clinic , either directly or through its strategic allies. With the participation of students, monitors, teachers and research assistants, the RAIV is an initiative at the service of the community victim of the armed conflict to attend to and address the different legal and social problems to which the population is exposed, with the aim to be able to contribute to the justiciability of their rights.
