Muchas organizaciones hoy en día sufren consecuencias tanto en su desempeño, estructura e incluso su propio núcleo desde todo ámbito, muy probablemente o en múltiples ocasiones por no anticiparse a lo que puede llegar a ocurrir en el fututo venidero, tras una falta quizás de análisis de sus factores internos, como también de lo que ocurre fuera de la misma y que le puede afectar, es decir, de los factores externos.
El plan prospectivo estratégico realizado sobre el departamento de bienestar universitario de la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia sede Barrancabermeja fue basado en tratar de resolver cuales serían los escenarios de desempeño a futuro, en el cual la organización podría desenvolverse. Todo esto a través de una serie de herramientas que se utilizaron para el descubrimiento de las variables denominadas estratégicas para esta significativa área de la institución universitaria. Dichas herramientas utilizadas se refieren en primer lugar a la construcción del árbol de competencias y Pestel, las cuales ayudaron revelar cuales eran los factores internos y externos más representativos del Departamento de Bienestar Universitario. Estos factores a su vez se constituyeron en variables que fueron exploradas a través de dos (2) software llamados Mic - Mac y Smic, quienes determinaron como estratégicas a seis (6) de ellas, y según los cuales a través de la posibilidad de ocurrencia del cumplimiento de los objetivos trazados a partir de dichas variables, se crearon los escenarios más Probable, más optimista, más pesimista, Deseable y Alterno en los cuales el Departamento podría interactuar en el futuro próximo. Se concluyó igualmente, que hay que prestar vital importancia sobre las fortalezas, debilidades, amenazas y oportunidades identificadas dentro de este estudio ya que finalmente son quienes establecen la aceleración o el retardo en el cambio del presente al futuro del Departamento.
Abstract
Many organizations today suffer consequences both in their performance, structure and even their own core from all areas, most likely or on multiple occasions for not anticipating what may happen in the future to come, after a lack of analysis of its internal factors, as well as what happens outside it and that may affect it, that is, external factors.
The strategic prospective plan carried out on the university welfare department of the Cooperative University of Colombia, Barrancabermeja headquarters, was based on trying to solve what the future performance scenarios would be, in which the organization could operate. All this through a series of tools that were used for the discovery of the variables called strategic for this significant area of the university institution. These tools used refer in the first place to the construction of the competence tree and Pestel, which helped to reveal which were the most representative internal and external factors of the Department of University Welfare. These factors in turn were variables that were explored through two (2) software called Mic - Mac and Smic, who determined as strategic six (6) of them, and according to which through the possibility of occurrence of the fulfillment of the objectives drawn from these variables, the most likely, most optimistic, most pessimistic, desirable and alternate scenarios were created in which the Department could interact in the near future. It was also concluded that vital importance must be given to the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities identified in this study since they are ultimately the ones who establish the acceleration or delay in the change from the present to the future of the Department.
