Resumen
La empresa Aeronáutica Civil es un organismo estatal vinculado con el Ministerio de Transporte que se encarga de realizar el control y la regulación de la aviación civil en Colombia por medio de los distintos aeropuertos construidos en las diferentes ciudades del país. La terminal aérea por medio de la cual se brinda el servicio de transporte aéreo en la ciudad de Villavicencio es el Aeropuerto Vanguardia, el cual está compuesto de múltiples áreas como financiera, administrativa, gerencial, de SST, ambiental, de bienestar social y una de las más importantes, el área operacional. El área operacional es la base del buen funcionamiento de cualquier aeropuerto, y es que allí es donde se ejecutan todas las operaciones aeroportuarias y se da inicio y fin al servicio de transporte aéreo; además es en donde se ven ejecutadas la toma de decisiones rápidas y estratégicas que se puedan generar en los diversos medios.
En el siguiente estudio de caso se presenta una visión amplia y general a una problemática latente en el área operacional enfocada al nivel productivo que tiene capacidad de proveer el Aeropuerto Vanguardia de Villavicencio a sus usuarios, en donde a través de la observación y el análisis se logra obtener una visión amplia de cada componente de la problemática; como lo es el aspecto estratégico, de calidad, de productividad, de la salud y seguridad en el trabajo (SST) y del ambiental. Por medio del análisis y observación de estos componentes, se logra identificar a grandes rasgos las causas principales de la problemática de productividad y la manera en que ésta genera un impacto a la empresa y la prestación de su servicio de transporte aéreo. Aunque el estudio de caso se aborda directamente al Aeropuerto Vanguardia de Villavicencio, éste solo es el medio de prestación del servicio, ya que la empresa que figura a nivel nacional es la Aeronáutica Civil.
Abstract
The Civil Aeronautics Company is a state agency linked to the Ministry of Transportation that is responsible for the control and regulation of civil aviation in Colombia through the various airports built in different cities of the country. The air terminal through which the air transport service is provided in the city of Villavicencio is the Vanguardia Airport, which is composed of multiple areas such as financial, administrative, managerial, OSH, environmental, social welfare and one of the most important, the operational area. The operational area is the basis for the proper functioning of any airport, and it is there where all airport operations are carried out and where the air transport service begins and ends; it is also where the quick and strategic decisions that can be generated in the various media are executed.
The following case study presents a broad and general vision of a latent problem in the operational area focused on the productive level that has the capacity to provide the Vanguardia Airport of Villavicencio to its users, where through observation and analysis it is possible to obtain a broad vision of each component of the problem, such as the strategic, quality, productivity, occupational health and safety (OSH) and environmental aspects. Through the analysis and observation of these components, it is possible to identify the main causes of the productivity problem and the way in which it has an impact on the company and the provision of its air transportation service. Although the case study directly addresses the Vanguardia Airport of Villavicencio, this is only the means of service provision, since the company that appears at the national level is the Civil Aeronautics.
