Abstract

The center of memory and community space "memories of the water" is a project that is made from an investigation on this municipality. Its development is divided into 3 parts; the urban analysis in which geographic aspects are identified that govern the municipality, sensitive aspects of the environment and in which appear the different needs that this area requires, the influence of the post-conflict and its way of living. San Carlos is located in the eastern sub-region of Antioquia, a geostrategic region due to its great wealth of resources, including "EL AGUA". From which arise problems where the plowed groups participate and change that landscape of tranquility and nature for one of darkness that taints its resources with violence and fear in its inhabitants. Where the municipality goes through a post-conflict process and again takes its path, driven towards better development, anqué in the shortcomings and problems that arise in an evident territorial, social, cultural and economic imbalance, which can generate opportunities to implement urban strategies that achieve a new restructuring of it based on culture, community spaces and the integration of natural resources In this way, we can strengthen the development of the municipality through a cultural growth that mixes, memory and natural resources, where water is shown as an identity that represents the Sancarlitanos and their ways of life
