La promoción, protección y defensa de los derechos humanos constituyen los caminos fundamentales para garantizar su pleno ejercicio, y se consideran un conjunto de tareas sistémicas que se complementan entre sí. Esto da pie para decir que, al hacer énfasis en cualquiera de las tres, de alguna u otra forma se afectan las demás. En este trabajo de investigación se han marcado huellas, sobre todo, en el camino de la promoción de los derechos humanos. Los términos ética, “dignidad humana”, florecimiento humano, pobreza, “carisma vicentino”, cambio sistémico, entre otros, al tener la intención de abrazarlos en un solo conjunto, inspiraron la idea de hacer un trabajo con un enfoque inductivo; para lo cual, en mayo de 2022 se fundó un grupo social en el barrio Brisas del Guatiquía Comuna 3, del municipio de Villavicencio, con el nombre de Eudaimonía. Después de tres años de experiencia grupal, tratando de responder de una manera ética, crítica y creativa a las necesidades más urgentes de la comunidad barrial, hoy se pueden notar cambios significativos en ella, que califican positivamente los 3 propósitos plasmados en esta obra: trabajar desde el reconocimiento del otro no como un problema a resolver, sino como un misterio a encarnar; trabajar en el cuidado del otro con la estrategia del cambio sistémico, que pide pensar integralmente los actos de justicia y solidaridad; y evidenciar las acciones concretas que se han desplegado para confirmar que si se quiere incidir en el florecimiento humano de una realidad empobrecida, hay que trabajar con enfoque ético y estrategia sistémica.
Abstract
The promotion, protection, and defense of human rights constitute the fundamental paths to guaranteeing their full exercise, and are considered a set of systematic tasks that complement each other. This suggests that emphasizing any of the three, in one way or another, affects the others. This research has left its mark, above all, on the path of promoting human rights. The terms ethics, "human dignity," "human flourishing," "poverty," "vincentian charisma," and "systemic change," among others, with the intention of embracing them as a single whole, inspired the idea of conducting work with an inductive approach. To this end, in May 2022, a social group was founded in the Brisas del Guatiquía neighborhood, Commune 3, in the municipality of Villavicencio, called Eudaimonía. After three years of group experience, seeking to respond ethically, critically, and creatively to the most urgent needs of the neighborhood community, significant changes can now be noted, which positively qualify the three purposes captured in this work: working from a place of recognition of the other not as a problem to be solved, but as a mystery to be embodied; working to care for the other with the strategy of systemic change, which calls for comprehensively considering acts of justice and solidarity; and highlighting the concrete actions that have been deployed to confirm that if we want to impact human flourishing in an impoverished reality, we must work with an ethical approach and systemic strategy.
