Centro de salud para el municipio de Pinchote Santander

Abstract

This graduation project aims at showing the need for a first level hospital, for the municipality of Pinchote Santander, taking into account the population census made on the years (1951-2012) and (2012-2016) in which a population increase was observed. IT highlights several problems (location, materials and cracks on walls) in the health post for the year 2016, this health centrer has a very small area of 800 m2 and it is not suitable for an upgrade. For the year 1951 the municipality had a population of 4.420, during the years 2005 and 2010 population remained between 4000 and 5000 inhabitants, and later for the year 2016, there was an increase of more than 500 people so pass the 5000 citizens. The increase was of about 300 to 500 people. With these ranges of population it is necessary to propose a new equipment of health which has the capacity to meet the needs of the total number of inhabitants of the municipality; the health center currently meets for the needs of 50% of the current population, since it has not had major additions or changes in recent years in which the population increased considerably.
