Estilos de crianza de tres familias de niñas altamente participativas en el contexto escolar

Abstract

The present work of degree was raised as an investigative exercise that forms part of the active research line "Psychology, Subjectivity and identities", whose objective was focused in the understanding of the styles of raising of 3 families of girls with a high participatory level in the school context. The paradigmatic and epistemological bases that frame the present investigation are based on the complex thought, the systemic paradigm and the language ontology. Therefore, the methodology used to develop this research is a qualitative one in which I worked with semi-structured interviews, which made it possible to generate understandings about the parents' narratives in terms of their parenting styles and the participation spaces of the Girls at home. Accordingly, the following categories were considered: parenting styles and child participation, these categories helped to achieve the general objective of the research, which focused on understanding the parenting styles of 3 families of girls with a high participatory level in the school context. The findings and conclusions found in the present study show the narratives made by the parents about activities in the home where the girls are involved, as well as the actions used by the parents in the moments of disagreement or praise for the actions of them. In this sense, it was possible to identify that in all three cases there is a concordance in the parents at the moment of giving the rules, as well as the importance they give to the opinion of the girls, in the decision making at home and the dialogue in the moments of disagreement or conflict with the daughters.
