La presente investigación se basa en identificar y categorizar los factores psicológicos, sociológicos e interaccionistas que inciden en la permanencia y/o deserción de estudiantes universitarios, haciendo referencia hacia el programa “Ser Pilo Paga”, para ello se realiza una revisión documental de 40 artículos, los cuales sirven como herramienta para analizar los diferentes factores a estudiar. Esta investigación es de enfoque cualitativo de tipo no experimental, ya que las variables no se manipulan, de igual forma, presenta un diseño transversal descriptivo, donde se busca indagar la incidencia de una o más variables en los estudiantes universitarios que toman la decisión de desertar y/o permanecer en los programas ofertados por instituciones de alta calidad. En esta investigación se emplea una matriz de clasificación, categorización e incidencia de los diferentes factores para realizar la compilación y el análisis de resultados. Ajustados a lo anterior, se encontró que a la hora de tomar la decisión de desertar la característica de mayor incidencia en el factor psicológico es la falta de motivación de los estudiantes, en el factor sociológico, la influencia familiar, y finalmente en el factor interaccionista prima la falta de calidad de los docentes de educación superior. Por otro lado, en cuanto a la permanencia, se encontró que en el factor psicológico las características de mayor referencia en la literatura están referidas al optimismo, autocontrol y autoestima, en el factor sociológico se encuentra la familia como ente transversal y en el factor interaccionista, se encuentra como eje principal las diferentes relaciones que logra el estudiante con la institución.
Abstract
The present investigation is based on identifying and categorizing psychological factors, sociological and interactionist that affect the permanence and/or desertion of students university students, making reference to the "Ser Pilo Paga" program, for this purpose a documentary review of 40 articles, which serve as a tool to analyze the different factors to study. This research is of a qualitative approach of type no experimental, since the variables are not manipulated, in the same way, it presents a design descriptive cross-section, where it is sought to investigate the incidence of one or more variables in the university students who make the decision to defect and / or stay in the programs offered by high quality institutions. In this research, a matrix of classification, categorization and incidence of the different factors to carry out the compilation and analysis of results. Adjusted to the above, it was found that at the time of making the decision to defect the characteristic of higher incidence in the psychological factor is the lack of motivation of the students, in the sociological factor, the family influence, and Finally, in the interactionist factor, the lack of quality of education teachers higher. On the other hand, regarding the permanence, it was found that in the psychological factor the most referenced characteristics in the literature are referred to optimism, self-control and self-esteem, in the sociological factor is the family as an entity cross-sectional and in the interactionist factor, the main axis is the different relationships that the student achieves with the institution.
