El Instituto Colombiano de Vías y Transporte “Invías”, está localizado en calle 38 No. 9-111, Av. Troncal de Occidente en la ciudad de Sincelejo (Sucre). El presente estudio se ha llevado a cabo debido a la preocupación por parte del Instituto Nacional de Vías “Invías.”, seccional Sucre, de no poner en riesgo la integridad y seguridad tanto de los empleados como de los clientes que visitan la sede. Dicha seccional presentaba fisuras y agrietamientos tanto en los pisos como en los muros. A través de la ejecución de ciertos ensayos y pruebas, se pudo establecer cuáles eran las causas de las posibles lesiones existentes. Todo esto en el marco de la norma sismo resistente NSR 10. Es de vital importancia anotar que para la verificación de los esfuerzos y el análisis de vulnerabilidad sísmica, se contó con un programa basado en la modelación a través de elementos finitos, lo cual permitió determinar y verificar los diseños hasta que éstos cumpliesen a cabalidad. Esta investigación se desarrolló en tres etapas: La primera de ellas consistió en la recolección de la información del paciente, por fuentes escritas y orales, incluyendo los recolectados en la revisión. En la Segunda etapa se efectuó un levantamiento arquitectónico y estructural de la edificación, para verificar que lo propuesto en el diseño fue lo que efectivamente se construyó. En la tercera etapa se realizó la inspección de grietas y fisuras, lo que definió la metodología a utilizar para el presente estudio y llevar a presentar el diagnóstico de las causas que generaron las lesiones en la estructura, rehabilitación y recuperación de la estabilidad y durabilidad de la misma.
Finalmente todo el trabajo desarrollado resulta útil y de vital importancia por el hecho que el proyecto se ejecutó de acuerdo a los reforzamientos y diseños establecidos en el estudio, lo cual pudo dar un parte de tranquilidad y seguridad para la entidad contratante. Su importancia pone de manifiesto cómo la utilización de las diferentes herramientas que nos brinda la ciencia de la patología de la construcción, unida con otras ramas del saber cómo lo es el análisis y calculo estructural, pueden solucionar lesiones graves que ponen en riesgo la estabilidad estructural y por ende la seguridad de quienes pueden permanecer en ciertos momentos en dichas edificaciones.
Abstract
The Colombian Institute of Roads and Transport "Invías", is located at calle 38 No. 9-111, Av. Troncal de Occidente in the city of Sincelejo (Sucre). This study has been carried out due to the concern of the National Institute of Roads "Invías.", Sucre section, not to jeopardize the integrity and safety of both employees and customers who visit the headquarters. This section presented fissures and cracks in both the floors and the walls. Through the execution of certain trials and tests, it was possible to establish what were the causes of possible existing injuries. All this within the framework of the NSR 10 earthquake resistant standard.
It is vitally important to note that for the verification of the efforts and the analysis of seismic vulnerability, there was a program based on modeling through finite elements, which allowed determining and verifying the designs until they were fully complied with. This investigation was carried out in three stages: The first one consisted of collecting patient information, by written and oral sources, including those collected in the review. In the second stage, an architectural and structural survey of the building was carried out, to verify that what was proposed in the design was what was actually built. In the third stage, the inspection of cracks and fissures was carried out, which defined the methodology to be used for this study and to present the diagnosis of the causes that generated the injuries in the structure, rehabilitation and recovery of the stability and durability of the same. Finally, all the work carried out is useful and of vital importance due to the fact that the project was executed according to the reinforcements and designs established in the study, which could provide a part of tranquility and security for the contracting entity. Its importance shows how the use of the different tools provided by the science of construction pathology, together with other branches of knowledge such as structural analysis and calculation, can solve serious injuries that put structural stability at risk. and therefore the safety of those who can remain at certain times in such buildings.
