En el desarrollo de este informe se plasmó todo el proceso logístico y de comercio exterior que manejé en mis prácticas profesionales en la empresa Mexichem Colombia SAS. En el transcurso de mis pasantías, atravesé diferentes fases requeridas por parte de la compañía para llegar al proceso de selección y tener la oportunidad de ser parte de la familia Orbia. Desde allí, obtuve y aseguré conocimientos, técnicas, procesos y metodologías encargadas de ser la base de todas las operaciones manejadas por comercio exterior en el sector andino.
Bajo mi experiencia la práctica empresarial como opción de grado es una de las más enriquecedoras gracias a la confianza depositada en el estudiante ya que pasa a desempeñarse como “profesional” y empieza a familiarizarse con el mundo laboral. El aprendizaje y la experiencia que Mexichem me regaló fue de vital importancia para poder comprender muchos de los procesos desarrollados en términos logísticos y comerciales. El crecimiento personal que obtuve tomó gran escala debido al nivel tan alto de responsabilidad, exigencia y compromiso que se comienza a adquirir.
La oportunidad de poder adentrarme en el mundo laboral aun teniendo ojos de estudiante me ha permitido reconocer que falencias tengo en el manejo de términos teóricos como prácticos y qué alternativas puedo utilizar para poder superarme aplicando la experiencia brindada por parte de la compañía.
Abstract
The development of this report reflects the entire logistics and foreign trade process that I handled in my internship at Mexichem Colombia SAS. During my internship, I went through different phases required by the company to reach the selection process and have the opportunity to be part of the Orbia family. From there, I obtained and secured knowledge, techniques, processes and methodologies responsible for being the basis of all operations handled by foreign trade in the Andean sector.
In my experience, the business internship as a degree option is one of the most enriching thanks to the trust placed in the student as he/she becomes a "professional" and begins to familiarize him/herself with the working world. The learning and experience that Mexichem gave me was of vital importance for me to be able to understand many of the processes developed in logistical and commercial terms in global terms. The personal growth that I obtained was on a large scale due to the high level of responsibility, demands, and commitment that I began to acquire.
The opportunity to enter the working world even though I was still a student has allowed me to recognize my shortcomings in the handling of theoretical and practical terms and what alternatives I can use to improve myself by applying the experience provided by the company.
