Ecoparque Murui

Abstract

The Murui eco-park is a place dedicated to proomothing the natural and cultural heritage and traditionds of the municipality of Puerto Leguizamo, focusing on the enviromental aspect and the collection of lost traditions within the munipality, since in the área of location there is a high percentage of damnage to the environment due to deforestation, becoming a crucial aspect to intervene and this provide mitigation to the environmental impact. The project is located to the north of the municipality, adjacent to the airport, articulating with the Caucaya airport road, with an area of 41,866 m2. For the development of the project, a concept is established, based on the interpretation of indigenous spaces such as the maloca, to understand on the relationship between the artificial and natural physical environments is; in effect, the maloca becomes a dwelling place, this being a temple, a physical expression of knowledge allowing the community to live in harmony with nature. Consequently, these communities take it upon themselves to take care of the world and ensure that it does not deteriorate, which makes the maloca a fundamental tool for the development of activities that provide the dissemination of ecological culture and the recognition of indigenous traditions present in the municipality.
