Estudio de percepción regional de la Maestría en Calidad y Gestión Integral de la Universidad Santo Tomás Bucaramanga

Abstract

The Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the Santo Tomás Bucaramanga University interested in evaluating its programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels established this line of research and one of the programs was the Master's Degree in Quality and Integral Management. For this purpose, the research group designed the evaluation project for which the strategy of consulting the classes that directly touched on the master's degree in question and that corresponded to the business sectors as potential employers, graduates of undergraduate programs candidates to carry out these studies, current students of the program and graduates of the program as visionaries of the Master. In this way, a sampling plan was established for each sector with the exceptions of space and time as intervening variables in the respective selections. Within the plan, it was determined to locate the geographical space primarily to the Santander and North Santander Departments, opening the measure to include other regions that could tangentially provide information for the development of the project. The available tools were used both for the collection of the information and for the evaluation of results and with these bases the corresponding analyzes were carried out that yielded the successes of the program to cover the business needs as well as the aspirations of those interested in pursuing the master's degree.
