Abstract

This report houses in broad strokes the experiences and knowledge acquired during the time in which I was doing my business practice at the international freight agency ALLTRANS LTDA, where I was allowed to experience the theoretical knowledge acquired during the 5 years of the race. During the practice, commercial, logistic activities, review of legal documentation necessary to carry out the operations and advice on the foreign trade process to both import and export businessmen were carried out The activities carried out correspond to quotations of estimates of foreign trade operations, request of international freight rates, whether sea, air or land, to insure the merchandise during its international journey, follow-up of the processes depending on the negotiation term that It was agreed between the supplier and the customer (importer), for import the follow-up starts from the moment the merchandise leaves the supplier's factory, whether we have the power over it or not, but it is our responsibility that this load reaches the customer's hands. Therefore we have to be informed of each process that is carried out with the load. In export we must prepare the logistic and legal part for the dispatch and confirm that the merchandise arrived at the hands of the buyer and in good condition. Skills were acquired in the commercial area, logistic processes of export and import, costing of foreign trade operations, documentation processing, customs agency and international transport.
