La tenencia de mascotas en Colombia ha experimentado un crecimiento significativo en
los últimos años, impulsado por factores como la pandemia de COVID-19, que llevó a muchas
personas a pasar más tiempo en casa con sus mascotas, esta tendencia ha llevado a que las
empresas y organizaciones adopten políticas más amigables con las mascotas. Por ejemplo,
muchas empresas ahora permiten que sus empleados lleven animales al trabajo, algunas escuelas
y universidades también han comenzado a ofrecer programas de educación sobre la tenencia
responsable de mascotas.
Estas iniciativas pet friendly son importantes porque contribuyen a promover la tenencia
responsable de mascotas y a mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas y los animales.
Es por lo anterior que uno de los objetivos de esta iniciativa consiste en poder realizar
una revisión y descripción de las estrategias, desarrollos y avances en el proceso de las
iniciativas Pet Friendly en los últimos cinco años y como han sido recibidas por las diferentes
empresas que las están gestionando y diseñar la estrategia de una iniciativa Pet Friendly para la
compañía Porvenir S.A. para funcionarios de la sede administrativa de Dirección General
ubicada en la regional Bogotá en puntos dentro de la compañía que genere valor a los
colaboradores para el año 2023, identificando las preferencias de los colaboradores, y destacando
cual sería la mejor estrategia para poder llevar a cabo la iniciativa.

Abstract
Pet ownership in Colombia has experienced significant growth in recent years, driven by
factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic, which led many people to spend more time at home
with their pets, this trend has led companies to and organizations adopt more pet-friendly
policies. For example, many companies now allow their employees to bring animals to work,
some schools and universities have also begun to offer education programs on responsible pet
ownership.
These pet friendly initiatives are important because they contribute to promoting
responsible pet ownership and improving the quality of life of people and animals.
It is for this reason that one of the objectives of this initiative is to be able to carry out a
review and description of the strategies, developments and advances in the process of Pet
Friendly initiatives in the last five years and how they have been received by the different
companies that They are managing them and designing the strategy of a Pet Friendly initiative
for the company Porvenir S.A. for officials of the administrative headquarters of the General
Directorate located in the Bogotá region at points within the company that generate value for
collaborators by 2023, identifying the preferences of collaborators, and highlighting what would
be the best strategy to be able to carry out The initiative.
