Pasantía en la Central Termoeléctrica de Paipa : apoyo a la unidad de producción y unidad administrativa

Abstract

The practice "Internship at the Paipa Thermoelectric Power Plant: support for the production unit and administrative unit" is made up of three parts: a familiarization with the plant's equipment and procedure from the perspective of the production unit and its engineering office shift. Within this first stage, the intern had the opportunity to design methodologies for the implementation of a pressure monitoring system in the ash transport system, as well as the measurement of the level of the ash silo. On the other hand, it consists of a short stay in the instrument workshop, where the intern recognized the equipment, procedures, variables and other concepts typical of industrial instrumentation. It should be noted that said stay was voluntary, scheduled and set by the electronic engineering student. The activities carried out by the intern include instrument checks, calibration and adjustment, cleaning and general maintenance.
