Tejiendo Cultura es un proyecto que busca visibilizar el legado histórico y cultural de las tejedoras afrodescendientes en Bogotá mediante una plataforma digital interactiva. Esta iniciativa permite a estas mujeres transmitir su conocimiento ancestral a las nuevas generaciones, fortaleciendo su conexión con la herencia cultural. Utilizando tecnologías como la realidad aumentada, el proyecto ofrece experiencias inmersivas que no solo preservan, sino que también adaptan las tradiciones al contexto moderno. Además, brinda a las tejedoras la oportunidad de comercializar su arte, lo que contribuye a su desarrollo económico y al enriquecimiento del tejido de las trenzas no solo en su comunidad, sino a las futuras generaciones.
Abstract
Tejiendo Cultura is a project that aims to highlight the historical and cultural legacy of Afro-descendant weavers in Bogotá through an interactive digital platform. This initiative allows these women to pass on their ancestral knowledge to new generations, strengthening their connection to their cultural heritage. By utilizing technologies such as augmented reality, the project offers immersive experiences that not only preserve but also adapt traditions to the modern context. Additionally, it provides weavers with the opportunity to market their art, contributing to their economic development and enriching the fabric of braiding, not only within their community but for future generations.
