El dispositivo para la memoria cultural, busca establecer una conexión entre la vida cultural y la ciudadanía mediante un proyecto arquitectónico. Reconociendo al ser humano como el creador e intérprete de diferentes prácticas culturales. Se pretende destacar la identidad de la comunidad a través de sus producciones y presentaciones al mundo; éste enfoque es clave para otorgar un papel protagónico a los usuarios en escenarios culturales inexistentes en la actualidad en Paipa. La propuesta se desarrollará de manera que la comunidad aporte vida y significado al edificio, generando una organización espacial que funcionalice el programa. El objetivo es tejer un “dispositivo” que adquiera un carácter cultural, reuniendo diversas expresiones y que a través de las características distintivas del proyecto se pueda lograr, incluyen estrategias como planta y corte libre, un espacio abierto y sin restricciones, una fachada concebida a través de la escenificación del espacio, y elementos de doble función como la cubierta y las plataformas públicas, junto con una estructura portante. En resumen, el proyecto se enfocará en la versatilidad y flexibilidad, desarrollado de manera experimental y hibridado con la arquitectura, donde se cree un edificio que no solo cumpla con funciones prácticas, sino que también sirva como un catalizador cultural, enriqueciendo la identidad y el tejido social de Paipa.
Abstract
The device for cultural memory seeks to establish a connection between cultural life and citizenship through an architectural project. Recognizing the human being as the creator and interpreter of different cultural practices. It is intended to highlight the identity of the community through its productions and presentations to the world; This approach is key to giving a leading role to users in cultural settings that currently do not exist in Paipa. The proposal will be developed in such a way that the community brings life and meaning to the building, generating a spatial organization that makes the program functional. The objective is to weave a “device” that acquires a cultural character, bringing together diverse expressions and that can be achieved through the distinctive characteristics of the project, including strategies such as free plan and cut, an open and unrestricted space, a façade conceived to through the staging of space, and dual-function elements such as the roof and public platforms, along with a supporting structure. In summary, the project will focus on versatility and flexibility, developed experimentally and hybridized with architecture, where a building is created that not only fulfills practical functions, but also serves as a cultural catalyst, enriching the identity and the social fabric of Paipa.
