| dc.description | Como muchas reflexiones, esta comienza con una experiencia personal banal. Un detonador que lleva al cuestionamiento. Se trata de un trámite de visa realizado a través de una web institucional que terminó siendo contradictorio. La idea del proceso era que las solicitudes fueran rellenadas telemáticamente para facilitar el proceso de revisión. Se llenaba para que la administración competente pudiera adelantar y acelerar el trámite, con el fin de reducir la cita presencial al menor tiempo posible. Empero, surgió una dificultad: había que cargar al sistema una foto personal cuyas exigencias técnicas —expresadas en píxeles— terminaron siendo muy difíciles de cumplir. Una vez en la cita presencial, la funcionaria explicó que la foto sería hecha de nuevo, a pesar de cumplir la subida al sistema con las condiciones estipuladas. La sensación de frustración duró poco, mas el evento originó un cuestionamiento inicial sencillo: ¿para qué solicitar la foto por web si al final se termina haciendo la foto in situ?
