Centro de protección para núcleos familiares con madres adolescentes cabeza de hogar en la región Caribe

Abstract

The present project entitled "Center of Protection for Family Centers with Adolescent Mothers Head of the Household in the Caribbean Region" developed in the City of Santa Marta, Magdalena, responds to a frequent social problem, such as adolescent pregnancy, and seeks to mitigate the Negative consequences that this brings to girls and their children, through an architectural project designed for the needs of the user, where the affective bond mother and child is strengthened, and where they facilitate the realization of different activities of mothers and the children in the same building.

The need for the project was established through research with state sources that corroborate the magnitude of the problem that affects a specific group, and the need for it was established in the Caribbean region, where one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancy is found. and a higher poverty index. The project is implemented in the city of Santa Marta for being a central city in the Caribbean region, and for having a health service and education suitable for the articulation of the project. From this research and identification of the problem, a needs program was established, which meets Adequate attention to this population. The protection center provides two types of care, one integral and the other partial, where the services are the same, with the difference that in partial care the mother retains her place of residence in her home.
