Abstract

Within the framework of the agreement 1751 "Integral Development of Middle Education" as part of the articulation of Mandatory Student Social Service scenarios, the Santo Tomás University, in the accompaniment of 21 district educational institutions, provides a proposal for a methodological route for implementation of the Obligatory Student Social Service built between the teachers of the schools and with the professionals of the USTA.

As part of the consolidation phase for 2018-1, it was planned to implement the proposal with a pilot group of students for which consent was requested to the IED who agreed to participate in the pilot. Likewise, the development of the proposal is integrated with the strategy defined by the university for this validity, where through a learning community of counselors, significant practices are identified that allow the methodological route to be carried out autonomously in the IED. With the students, awareness was made of the contribution of the mandatory student social service in their life project. Finally, within the work plan for the implementation of the proposal, a step-by-step approach was developed for the development of the methodological route of compulsory student social service in the IED, an exercise systematized by the university in this document.
