In this part of the program, we begin to build community life projects, which will be the transversal axis of the entire activity. Participants make personal and group commitments to reflect and reorient their life expectations. In addition, workshops on cultural activities, sports and recreational activities, and healthy living are held. An important part of this phase is the possibility of complementing social inclusion by giving participants the opportunity to participate in different events organized in the community, such as recreational outings, exchanges and workshops in different areas. The educational population of San Quintín does not have physical education as part of its educational curriculum, which contributes negatively to the healthy lifestyle habits of schoolchildren, favoring physical inactivity, which leads us to propose the general objective of our methodological design, which is to promote physical activity in the students of the educational institutions to intervene in San Quintín, through the gamified strategy proposed.

In recent years, Colombia has been a host country for more than 1,000,000 Venezuelan nationals, all of them in migrant status, which is why the Government made the decision to create records that allow it to easily identify them and facilitate immigration procedures such as the issuance of a Colombian visa, applications for nationality and protection of rights, but many of the people who arrive in the country have no knowledge of these records and experience various difficulties in obtaining work, accessing the health service or the education -among others-. This document, in a simple language accessible to a wide audience, all the steps to follow to make each of the records effectively and facilitate the processes of formalizing immigration situations.

The continuous training and updating for the teachers of the Faculty of Education at the Santo Tomás University occupies a fundamental place in the exercise of leadership for participation, empowerment and social projection, where the substantive functions are articulated and the communities are impacted. Because of our methodology (traditional distance with technological mediation) we can approach and influence broad sectors of the national territory, close to the context of teachers in training (students, practitioners) and vulnerable communities. These interventions and interaction empower the teacher in training in the management of concrete situations of the daily life of the educational communities and their relationship with the environment, the authorities, other institutions and experiences. The training strategies used by the University favor the empowerment, acquisition or strengthening of teaching competences, the confrontation of theories with reality so that a community intervention project can be organized, managed and evaluated that responds to the specific social needs of each context where the practice is carried out.

Bogotá’s localities are being affected by common problems that demand interventions from different entities and organizations. USTA in its commitment to social responsibility, as a substantive function, has a presence in the social projection centers that generate as an alternative the implementation of projects that carry out intervention in the community and in this case, from the Faculty of Physical Culture, specifically from the recreation field. This is how the opportunity was born to generate processes of intervention and development of projects that hand in hand with research actions, professional practices, degree options, teachers and students, contribute to the felt needs of the communities and the population, which also can be converted into alternatives for change, aroused by their own settlers as they develop from the action – participation. For the Physical Culture, Sports and Recreation program of the University Santo Tomás (USTA), innovate in projects that from recreation with participatory methodologies becomes a priority in terms of contribution to the training of its professionals. This project will be developed from the start-up of a participatory diagnosis, to identify the benefits in direct leisure and recreation practices in the community. From this perspective, promoters are trained in lifestyles and well-being, in addition, it promotes the use of experience, knowledge and expert advice from the recreation field. The project actions are carried out from the design executed by the promoters, derived from their learning, appropriation and reading of the community needs and put into action from leisure and recreation. Thus, the present project will make a direct impact with the community members of Suba locality contributing to their training as promoters of lifestyle and well-being, who lead leisure and recreation actions within the framework of their territory and empowering it, evidencing the benefits of this process with their community.

The Story Baggage project seeks to promote reading among the children and young inhabitants of Ciudad Bolivar, with the attention of the Ciudad Bolivar PSC. The main objective of the project is to develop reading habits in the working population and to encourage reading as a source of pleasure and recreation, as a projection of possible and impossible dream worlds, but also as a device for recognition in the inhabited context, hence it works as a factor of development and strengthening of personality. Through this project we also seek to ensure that the target population finds in writing, orality and images tools of expression to manifest positions, priorities, thoughts, ideas and feelings.
