Resumen
El trabajo de grado aborda el diseño arquitectónico de una escuela – taller de teatro ubicado en la zona centro de la ciudad de Bucaramanga, Colombia, para jóvenes interesados en realizar estudios básicos de este oficio. Este se afronta a través de una metodología de investigación que permite recolectar, organizar y analizar la información pertinente para formular una propuesta integral. Este plan de trabajo es el abstraído y adaptado del libro “Teoría de la Arquitectura” del autor Enrico Tedeschi, quien menciona tres componentes principales para investigar teóricamente la arquitectura. Estos son: SOCIEDAD, NATURALEZA Y ARTE.
La investigación inicia con un análisis de referentes con el fin de hallar las características urbanas, formales, funcionales y técnicas de proyectos similares al que se plantea; pues esto actúa a modo de guía argumentada sobre sus particularidades proyectuales y sobre la búsqueda de un sector conveniente para ubicar el proyecto. Luego, indica el estudio del llamado “paisaje cultural”, es decir, los valores urbanos, demográficos y técnicos que caracterizan al sector del centro para seleccionar un lote de implantación. Una vez pautado, se examinan los aspectos medioambientales que lo afectan directamente y se discute el sentido estético del proyecto al hacer un reconocimiento del lenguaje arquitectónico que se le ha otorgado a los equipamientos culturales del entorno inmediato. Complementando esta dimensión, se han identificado los principios de diseño de la corriente arquitectónica del Brutalismo, ya que no es desconocida en la zona y permite reforzar los conceptos formales y técnicos del proyecto.
Esta investigación da como resultado la elaboración de un cuadro de áreas y unas premisas de diseño que permiten concebir el proyecto de manera coherente y que responden positivamente a las demandas urbanas, formales, funcionales y técnicas encontradas. Es una edificación que responde de manera clásica y armoniosa a su contexto.
Abstract
This degree work covers the architectural design of a Theater Workshop School located in the downtown area of the city Bucaramanga, Colombia; Whose principal user are the young people interested in doing basic studies of this art. This is reached by a methodology that allows to collect, organize and analyze the precise information to formulate a coherent proposal. This work plan is the one abstracted and adapted from the book "Theory of Architecture" by the author Enrico Tedeschi, who mentions three main components to theoretically investigate architecture. These are: SOCIETY, NATURE AND ART.
The research begins with an analysis of references in order to find the urban, formal, functional and technical characteristics of projects similar to the one proposed; these qualities work as a guided plan on the particularities of the project and on the search for a suitable sector to locate the project. Then, it indicates the study of the so-called "cultural landscape", that are the urban, demographic and infrastructure values that characterize the downtown of the city to find the specific land of implantation. Once scheduled, it examines the environmental aspects that directly affect the land chosen and simultaneously discusses the esthetic sense of the project by making a recognition of the architectural language that has been granted to the cultural buildings of the immediate context. Complementing this dimension, it has been identified the design codes of the architectural movement of Brutalism, since it is not an unknown language in the area and allows to reinforce the formal and technical concepts of the project.
With this research is possible to make a list of the spaces that are necessary and the design premises that allows to conceive the project in a coherent manner and that responds positively to the urban, formal, functional and technical demands encountered. It is a building that responds in a classic and harmonious way to its context.
