| dc.description | El desarrollo económico colombiano ha mostrado una evolución heterogénea, evolucionando satisfactoriamente en algunos aspectos, pero desfavorablemente en otros. Así mismo, la evidencia encaminada a mostrar el estado de bienestar regional se ha centrado en mediciones monetarias, lo cual deja de lado otros aspectos importantes. Basados en la estimación del índice de complejidad económica propuesto por Hidalgo y Hausmann (2009), la presente investigación está encaminada a analizar la evolución general del desarrollo en las principales regiones de Colombia. Posteriormente, a través de estimaciones econométricas, se pretende encontrar la relación de este indicador con algunas variables de desarrollo económico y de esta manera ofrecer más y mejores herramientas de política pública encaminadas a mejorar el bienestar, la competitividad y el desarrollo económico en el ámbito regional colombiano. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | Colombian economic development has shown a heterogeneous evolution, evolving satisfactorily in some aspects, but unfavorably in others. Likewise, the evidence aimed at showing the regional welfare state has focused on monetary measurements, which neglects other important aspects. Based on the estimation of the economic complexity index proposed by Hidalgo and Hausmann (2009), this research is aimed at analyzing the general evolution of development in the main regions of Colombia. Subsequently, through econometric estimates, it is intended to find the relationship of this indicator with some variables of economic development and in this way offer more and better public policy tools aimed at improving well-being, competitiveness and economic development at the regional level.
