Las primeras dos ciudades, reconocidas mundialmente por su lujo y modernidad, han logrado posicionarse como destinos turísticos de primer nivel gracias a inversiones masivas en infraestructura, atracciones innovadoras y campañas de marketing de alto impacto. Por otro lado, Villavicencio, con un enfoque más natural y cultural, presenta un gran potencial turístico, pero enfrenta desafíos en cuanto a infraestructura. El objetivo del análisis es identificar las estrategias exitosas de Dubái y Abu Dhabi, así como las políticas sostenibles implementadas en cada uno de estos destinos, para aplicarlas y adaptarlas al contexto de Villavicencio. De esta manera, se busca desarrollar un plan de acción que permita a Villavicencio convertirse en un destino turístico sostenible.
Abstract
The first two cities, recognized worldwide for their luxury and modernity, have managed to position themselves as first class tourist destinations thanks to massive investments in infrastructure, innovative attractions and high impact marketing
campaigns. On the other hand, Villavicencio, with a more natural and cultural focus, has great tourism potential but faces challenges in terms of infrastructure. The objective of the analysis is to identify the successful strategies of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as the sustainable policies implemented in each of these destinations, in order to apply and adapt them to the context of Villavicencio. In this way, we seek to develop an action plan that will allow Villavicencio to become a sustainable tourist destination.
