Resaltando los progresos de la universidad Santo Tomás en la implementación de la tecnología como estrategia pedagógica y movidos por un sentido de pertenencia hacia la institución se ha querido indagar sobre el manejo, uso y servicio que presta la plataforma virtual de la universidad planteando ¿DE QUE FORMA LOGRAR UNA ADECUADA COMUNICACIÓN ENTRE DOCENTES NACIONALES Y ESTUDIANTES, MEDIANTE EL USO DE LA PLATAFORMA VIRTUAL COMO HERRAMIENTA PARA LOS PROCESO DE ENSEÑANZA-APRENDIZAJE EN LA UNIVERSIDAD SANTO TOMÁS CAU MEDELLIN? Esto debido a que se han presentado inconvenientes referentes a la falta de una comunicación clara entre los docentes nacionales y los estudiantes del CAU, la caída del sistema lo que dificulta la presentación de trabajos en línea o consulta a tiempo de información, la demora en la respuesta de los docentes nacionales ante inquietudes que tienen que ver con las asignaturas matriculadas de forma virtual, la no Visibilización de resultados o notas de las asignaturas en el SAC, el trabajo de forma virtual de asignaturas que podrían ser presénciales como las matemáticas y ética. Situaciones que han llevado a la desmotivación de los estudiantes frente a la utilización de la plataforma y por ende ante el proceso de formación, pues se tiende a pensar que se está solo.
Abstract
Highlighting the progress of the University of Santo Tomás in the implementation of technology as a pedagogical strategy and motivated by a sense of belonging to the institution, the aim was to investigate the management, use and service provided by the university's virtual platform. WAY TO ACHIEVE ADEQUATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN NATIONAL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS, THROUGH THE USE OF THE VIRTUAL PLATFORM AS A TOOL FOR THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS AT SANTO TOMÁS CAU MEDELLIN UNIVERSITY? This is because there have been problems related to the lack of clear communication between national teachers and CAU students, the fall of the system, which makes it difficult to present online works or consult information at the time, the delay in the response of national teachers to concerns that have to do with the subjects enrolled in a virtual way, the non-visibility of results or notes of the subjects in the SAC, the work of virtual subjects that could be presecial such as mathematics and ethics. Situations that have led to the demotivation of the students against the use of the platform and therefore before the training process, because they tend to think that they are alone.
