El presente trabajo realiza un estudio patológico al edificio del auditorio municipal de Cabuyaro en el departamento del Meta, con el propósito de identificar, analizar y estudiar las principales patologías que presenta esta estructura. El presente estudio patológico surge de la necesidad de conocer el estado actual de la estructura del auditorio y así poder realizar una propuesta de intervención que permita que esta pueda ser utilizada. Para el desarrollo del estudio se utilizó una metodología basada principalmente en recopilación de información y en la inspección visual del edificio. Durante la visita realizada al auditorio se observaron y registraron diferentes tipos de daños en algunos elementos constructivos, como fisuras, grietas y fracturas, así como eflorescencias y corrosión en el acero de refuerzo. Una vez recopilada la información del edificio, se organizó y se realizó un análisis de las patologías identificadas, considerando posibles factores como el paso del tiempo, las condiciones ambientales, el mantenimiento de la edificación y sobre todo que esta estructura fue realizada con la NSR-98. También se utilizan algunos ensayos para la evaluación de las estructuras de concreto, como la carbonatación y el pulso ultrasónico. Finalmente, se plantean algunas recomendaciones orientadas a mejorar el estado del auditorio y contribuir a su conservación a lo largo del tiempo.
Abstract
This study presents a pathological assessment of the municipal auditorium building located in Cabuyaro. The main objective is to identify, analyze, and study the principal pathologies affecting the structure. This assessment arises from the need to understand the current condition of the auditorium and to develop an intervention proposal that would allow the building to be safely used again. The study was carried out using a methodology mainly based on the collection of available information and a detailed visual inspection of the building. During the site visit, several types of damage were observed and recorded in different construction elements, including cracks, fissures, and fractures, as well as efflorescence and corrosion in the reinforcing steel. Photographic records and field observations were used to document the existing conditions of the structure. After gathering the information, the data were organized and analyzed in order to determine the possible causes of the identified pathologies. Factors such as the age of the building, environmental conditions, maintenance practices, and the fact that the structure was designed under the NSR-98 regulation were considered during the evaluation. Additionally, reference is made to some tests commonly used in the evaluation of concrete structures, such as carbonation testing and ultrasonic pulse testing, as part of the technical analysis framework. Finally, a set of recommendations and intervention guidelines are proposed to improve the condition of the auditorium and contribute to its preservation and long-term functionality.
