La palabra que florece: narrativas de adolescentes sobre el vínculo, la amistad y la palabra como territorio de cuidado

Abstract

Friendship relationships during adolescence constitute important contexts for recognition, belonging, and identity construction; however, they may also be permeated by forms of symbolic violence that often remain naturalized in everyday life. This research-intervention aimed to understand the meanings that 3 adolescent girls construct about friendship and the forms of violence that traverse their relationships, as well as the transformations that emerge through reflexive conversation. The study was guided by the following research question: How do adolescent girls construct meanings about friendship and the forms of violence that traverse their relationships, and in what ways are these meanings transformed through reflexive conversation within a narrative research-intervention process? Using a qualitative approach with a systemic-narrative, social constructionist, and second-order orientation, four conversational scenarios were conducted with 3 adolescent girls aged 11 to 13 years. Findings showed that validation, listening, and emotional expression foster processes of re-signification of harm, relational responsibility, and the strengthening of care practices. The study contributes to understanding narrative conversation as a resource for making naturalized forms of symbolic violence visible and for promoting relationships grounded in mutual recognition and care among peers.
