However, studying English through of a screen is not so simple as it seems, there are some factors that are part of the social, family, cultural and economic context of students, which influence and affect their learning process, but of any way these situations and experiences allow to students be more autonomous and creative to find the necessary strategies in order to achieve the objectives, and these strategies are the main focus of my thesis, a narrative research which belongs to subproject 3 of the program LLEI of the Universidad Santo Tomás, in which through of narratives, a frame and a multimodal data, allowed me compile each one of my experiences studying at distance modality, synthesize, codify and analyze the information, and of this way identify which were those strategies that I implemented in each one of difficult situations in my learning process; likewise, allowed me elaborate important conclusions which become today in a contribution to LLEI program of the Universidad Santo Tomás and in general to students and educative institutions which work under the modality distance in Colombia.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Implementación de una estrategia de capacitación en competencias TIC dirigida a los docentes del Área de Humanidades de la sede Central de la Institución Educativa Técnico Industrial “Julio Flórez” de Chiquinquirá, Boyacá(2020-08-14) Oviedo, Maura Indirha; Neira, Camilo Andrey; Quiroga, José DanielThis qualitative research focuses on Competencies in the use and appropriation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as the fundamental axis for the professional development of teachers who face the challenge of assuming the education of the society of information in the 21st century. Its purpose was to strengthen ICT skills through a training strategy for teachers in the Humanities area of headquarters at Industrial Technical Julio Flórez in Chiquinquirá. The problem that gave rise to this project was the analysis of the comparison of the results in the Saber 11 tests in three consecutive years where low performance was evidenced with respect to the national trend in the levels of proficiency in English and critical reading. The diagnosis on the knowledge and use of ICT by teachers resulted in barely basic levels of competences, so a training strategy was designed structured in an instructional design with an emphasis on challenge-based learning that was implemented to develop both in person and through a Virtual Learning Environment. The results obtained show that the proposed objectives were fully achieved with the benefit of the participating population, who were able to familiarize themselves with cutting-edge technological tools that could integrate their pedagogical practices and innovate in their teaching work and thus contribute to improving performance of your students.Tipo de ítem: Ítem , Orientaciones pedagógicas para el diseño e implementación del Plan de Movilidad Escolar (PME) con estudiantes de transición y docentes del Jardín Infantil Cunitas y Crayolas.(2019-07-15) Cañón, Tania; Romero, Claudia HelenaThe present research was conducted to determine which pedagogical orientations will be used to effectively implement the School Mobility Plan (SMP), with students of transition graders and teachers from kinder garden “Cunitas and Crayolas" since, by collecting some data for the research, it was determined that the students do not have any specific training in education and road safety, It also became clear that teachers do not have enough knowledge about it and therefore are not trained to teach it to their students, which means a very important issue due to the high rates of accidents and deaths that currently occur. Due to this fact, the design and implementation of the SMP in the school is proposed as an alternative solution, which is looking to guide actions through pedagogical strategies based on the Social Learning Theory by Bandura (1977), and fostering a road culture that can be safe, responsible and sustainable in the whole educational community and, through that help protecting and saving people's lives, while it is tried to facilitate their mobility as well. In addition, it is made an intervention with some of the teachers from the school through capacitation to provide them some relevant information about the SMP and some necessary guidance with the committee formed to establish the design and the future implementation of the plan. Parents, mothers and caregivers were also part of this work by providing information through the surveys, as well as expected to participate actively in the activities that the institution and the committee of the PME pose for the implementation of it. It was used a qualitative approach and an Action Research method which leaded to achieve the pedagogical strategies proposed for the research and, at the same time, served as a guide to teachers to correctly implement the development of the SMP at the school with optimal and practical results from the students that can be demonstrated to show what they have learned.
