Abstract
El Covid -19 hace su presencia a finales del año 2019 en el mundo y en ese momento no se
advertía el riesgo para la supervivencia del ser humano, quizás por la falta de información
sobre su naturaleza, actuar y movimiento. A medida que el virus avanzó, no solamente en el
número de personas infectadas, sino en el aumento diario de la tasa de fallecimientos, los
gobiernos y la sociedad han tomado varias medidas de protección, entre ellas el aislamiento
social. Esta práctica, ha permeado drásticamente a la educación en Colombia, que debió
adoptar de manera abrupta modelos de educación remota, virtual, a distancia y/o combinada,
sin tener la capacidad tecnológica, el aprestamiento, la formación, ni experiencia en ella; pues
la educación en Colombia, en su mayoría, se da en la modalidad presencial. Esta misma
situación ha debido afrontarse en la educación rural, con menos capacidades instaladas como
se ha descrito y caracterizado anteriormente.
