La presente propuesta de investigación tiene como objetivo principal identificar los
beneficios que la migración aporta al mercado laboral de la Unión Europea, abordando el
problema de la falta de un análisis centrado en las contribuciones de la migración en los
países receptores de dicha integración, específicamente en términos de su impacto en el
sector laboral.
Esta propuesta tendrá en cuenta la teoría sobre la migración Push and Pull del
sociólogo Everett Lee, la teoría económica neoclásica y la teoría del capital humano, las
cuales abordan temas que explican el fenómeno migratorio mediante factores expulsores
(Push) del país de origen y factores atrayentes (Pull) hacia el país de destino; la consideración
de que el flujo migratorio responde a incentivos económicos, donde se incluyen las
diferencias salariales entre países y las oportunidades de empleo; y la importancia de la
educación y el conocimiento en el mercado laboral.
Para alcanzar el objetivo planteado se abordará un estudio cualitativo mediante la
revisión de literatura que abarcara la búsqueda sistemática de artículos académicos, estudios
previos y publicaciones de organizaciones gubernamentales e intergubernamentales sobre los
aportes de la migración en el mercado laboral de los países miembros de la Unión Europea,
los cuales serán procesados a través del software de análisis cualitativo ATLAS.ti; con el fin
de identificar las diferentes categorías claves de la propuesta, así como el hallazgo de nuevos
temas de interés para futuras generaciones.
