Propuesta proceso de transición Vicerrectoría de Universidad Abierta y a Distancia a Decanatura de División de Educación Abierta y a Distancia

El presente documento de trabajo, a nivel de borrador inicial, presenta la estructuración del Proyecto de Transición VUAD a USTA – UAD, el cual se enmarca en la actualización del Estatuto Orgánico de la Universidad Santo Tomás, específicamente lo citado en el artículo 130°, a saber: La Vicerrectoría General de Universidad Abierta y a Distancia se transforma en “Decanatura de División de Educación Abierta y a Distancia”. Por consiguiente, su organización, estructura y funciones serán determinadas en la reglamentación que para el caso se expida, teniendo en cuenta lo que ya se ha determinado en el presente Estatuto. La ejecución del cambio se hará en forma progresiva, en un plazo de un (1) año contado a partir de la promulgación del presente Estatuto y con sujeción a los Acuerdos que expida el Consejo Superior. Por lo anterior, se hace necesario efectuar un diagnóstico del estado actual de la Vicerrectoría de Universidad Abierta y a Distancia, que permita proyectar su funcionalidad de acuerdo a la nueva organización, estructura y funciones.

Abstract

This working document, at the initial draft level, presents the structuring of the VUAD Transition Project to USTA - UAD, which is part of the updating of the Organic Statute of the Universidad Santo Tomás, specifically what is mentioned in article 130, namely: The General Vicerrectoría of Open and Distance University becomes "Decanatura Division of Open and Distance Education". Therefore, its organization, structure and functions will be determined in the regulations that are issued, taking into account what has already been determined in the present Statute. The execution of the change will be made progressively, within a period of one (1) year as of the promulgation of this Statute and subject to the Agreements issued by the Superior Council. Due to the above, it is necessary to make a diagnosis of the current state of the Vice Presidency of Open and Distance University, which allows to project its functionality according to the new organization, structure and functions.
